Now that spring is upon us, are any New Year’s resolutions you may have made for health and wellness a distant memory? (If so, remember that spring is a time for new beginnings!)

Whether you need a fresh start toward developing healthy habits or you’re someone who’s already committed to this, our Healthy Lifestyle Festival is for you!

Healthy Families, Healthy Pets

The theme of this year’s festival is “Healthy Families, Healthy Pets” to emphasize that Your Commissary is prepared to meet the health and wellness needs of all the members of your family, whether human, furry or feathered!

“We know how important the family pet is to our military customers, so we want to be sure our commissaries offer the best products and savings to support all your family members in leading a healthy lifestyle.” -Tracie Russ, DeCA’s Director of Sales

Commissaries worldwide will be promoting leading a healthy lifestyle by hosting sidewalk sales and featuring product demonstrations, food samples and coupons.

The sales will include savings, giveaways and “Buy One, Get One Free” coupons on pet products and food from companies like Purina, Hill’s Pet Nutrition and The J.M. Smucker Company. Plus, some commissaries will even offer special activities for pet owners!

Various exchange stores and installation Morale, Welfare & Recreation activities will have complementary offerings, including discounts on workout equipment and apparel, health screenings and fitness events.
