The convenience of grocery shopping from the comfort of your home, then paying and picking up your order curbside at the store is now reality for customers at Fort Eustis! We officially launched CLICK2GO service at the Fort Eustis Commissary on Friday, March 1!
The ordering experience at the Fort Eustis store ushers in the future of CLICK2GO as the first store to have curbside pickup built directly into our new enterprise business system.
“I’m excited about the Fort Eustis launch because it’s the first time CLICK2GO will be offered as a fully-integrated feature of our new, state-of-the-art enterprise system.
It’s a win-win opportunity that provides exceptional convenience for our customers, with expanded efficiency and effectiveness for us from a business perspective.”
-Robert J. Bianchi, Special Assistant for Commissary Operations
CLICK2GO can make grocery shopping simpler and more convenient for you. Whether you’re a parent who’s tired of trying to corral the kids while trying to shop, a customer with restricted mobility who needs some help with the heavy lifting or just someone who needs to fit grocery shopping into your already busy schedule, CLICK2GO is easy as 1, 2, 3!
Curbside Pickup is as Easy as 1-2-3 with CLICK2GO!
- Place your order on our website.
- We’ll select and bag your groceries.
- Drive to the store at your scheduled time to pay and pick up your order at the curb!
This is just one more way Your Commissary is helping you save more money and time!
Using CLICK2GO is a straightforward process. Authorized commissary shoppers access the system via the agency’s new customer portal, MyCommissary. You must register for an account the first time you access the portal. You can also access the portal and learn more about this service by visiting our website’s CLICK2GO section.
Once in CLICK2GO, you can add commissary products to your cart, select a pickup time and complete the checkout process. The only thing left to do is arrive at curbside during your time slot and pay! Commissary workers will load the groceries into your car and your shopping trip will be complete.
“In today’s busy world, convenience is key. We’re pleased to expand the CLICK2GO service to Fort Eustis shoppers.
Right now, products and prices display much like a sales flyer, but as the system becomes more robust, it will feature more information shoppers find useful, such as product ingredients.”
-Willie Watkins, DeCA’s eBusiness Chief
As the new CLICK2GO launches, the pilot we have offered at our Fort Lee, Offutt AFB and Travis AFB stores will draw to a close on June 1. We appreciate the support of our CLICK2GO customers at these commissaries, as they have helped us to improve the service for all customers and prepare to deploy it more widely. We expect to eventually bring the new CLICK2GO to these stores and others as our new business and checkout systems are installed in commissaries worldwide over the next four years.
We know you might be eager to try the new CLICK2GO for yourself (and we hope you are!), but please hang in there with us as we begin to move forward on this rollout. The service will not be offered at all commissaries, but we will be selecting participating locations based on a variety of factors. Dates for future expansion have not yet been set; however, the Oceana NAS Commissary is expected to be the next location to offer the new CLICK2GO service.
There was no service fee charged for CLICK2GO during the pilot phase, but that will change as commissaries deploy the new service. Fort Eustis Commissary customers won’t be charged a service fee through March 31 as an introductory offer, but a $4.95 service fee will be applied to each CLICK2GO order beginning April 1. (And no, that is not an April Fools’ joke – that’s why we’re telling you in advance!)
