We recently introduced a new MyCommissary online customer portal. By now, perhaps you’ve gotten your feet wet with it, or maybe you weren’t sure where to get started in the first place… but either way, these tips are for you!
One of the first capabilities we’ve launched on the portal is the new home for the Commissary Rewards Card. Because we’ve transitioned the interface for this from a separate website to being part of this portal, there’s bound to be a learning curve, as you learn how to navigate this new interface and we learn what adjustments we may need to make to ensure the portal will be as user-friendly as possible.
As your Consumer Advocate, I want to walk you through some of the differences you may notice in your Commissary Rewards Card portal experience so you’ll have all of the information you’ll need to connect, clip and save quickly and easily! Here are some tips to keep in mind:
1. You must register to access the new portal
All customers must register to access the new portal, even if they were already registered on the previous Commissary Rewards Card website. Whereas the previous website was solely for the Commissary Rewards Card, the portal is a separate site that will offer additional features as it continues to grow, so it requires a new account.
Link Your Commissary Rewards Card
When you register, make sure to provide the first 11 digits of your Commissary Rewards Card number to link your card to your new MyCommissary portal account!
2. Confirm that you’ve successfully clipped your coupons
We don’t want there to be any surprises when you get to the register, so once you’ve clicked the coupons you want, it’s always best to verify that the coupon was digitally “clipped” to your card’s wallet. You can verify this in a few ways:
Look for The “Clipped!” Notification
When your mouse hovers over an unclipped coupon, the coupon should be highlighted and a “Click to Clip” message should appear across it.
Once you’ve clicked the coupon and it’s successfully clipped to your wallet, it will still be highlighted when your mouse hovers over it, but the “Click to Clip” message will be replaced by the word “Clipped!”
Check Your “Coupons clipped” Count
The first piece of information you’ll see under the “My Wallet” heading near the top of the page is “Coupons clipped:” followed by a number. That count will increase every time you successfully clip a digital coupon to your card’s wallet!
Go to Your Wallet
Under the “My Wallet” heading, there’s also a link titled “Go to My Wallet,” which you can clip to see all of the coupons you’ve clipped to your wallet. If you don’t see a coupon you wanted, return to the “My Coupons” section and try to clip it again!
3. Print your digital coupon list to PDF or paper for your shopping convenience
Although these coupons can only be redeemed digitally, a printout of the coupons you’ve clipped can come in handy because you can keep it with your shopping list and refer to it in the commissary. Here’s how I recommend printing your list of digital coupons from the portal for the best experience:
Once you’ve clicked the “Go to My Wallet” link and your wallet has loaded, right-click on the screen and click “Print.” Once you’ve set your print preferences, such as page orientation, you’ll be ready to print!
Whether you choose to print on paper or to Adobe PDF for an electronic file you can email to yourself and access on your phone, we hope this will make your shopping trip a little more convenient!
4. Use our mobile website for access on-the-go
You can access the portal in your favorite mobile browser to clip digital coupons and check your Commissary Rewards Card wallet from virtually anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection! Simply visit http://my.commissaries.com to find the portal, log in and view these features.
(It’s important to note that the Commissary Rewards Card mobile apps for iOS and Android are still working for their existing users, but are no longer accepting new user registrations, as new apps are planned to replace them. In the meantime, we hope that you will find the mobile website useful!)
