The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) and the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) have teamed up to make it more convenient for you to share the gift of groceries with the authorized commissary customers in your life!
Last week, NEXCOM began selling commissary gift cards at 43 NEX locations; the cards are located up front, near the registers. And when you purchase one, you choose how much to load onto it, from a minimum of $5 to a maximum of $300.
“NEXCOM and DeCA teams have provided a win-win for our shared patrons. This coordinated effort seeks to provide our deserving customers additional convenience, and throughout the year our teams will be continuing the collaboration on other joint opportunities and events for our service members and their families.”
-Retired Rear Adm. Robert J. Bianchi, NEXCOM CEO and DeCA Interim Director & CEO
“This is a great partnership for NEX and Commissary co-patrons. At NEXCOM we strive to provide quality goods at a savings and by serving those who serve us!”
-Melissa Dodson-Dozier, NEXCOM District Vice President, Tidewater Region
And, as always, commissary gift cards can be purchased at any commissary full-service checkout or customer service area or online, so you can purchase a commissary gift card however is most convenient for you.
